Basic is for those who want to reduce the cost of accommodation while traveling, and involves staying in hotels and guest houses that are slightly more basic but still maintain the standard of AC, comfortable beds and breakfast.

Lyx

Luxury is for those who want to live in a more luxurious way, and includes 4- and 5-star hotels with a standard ranging from ordinary Swedish hotels, up to real luxury hotels. There you can enjoy a spa, massage, pool party, and a very good quality breakfast.

Arrival

When you arrive at the airport, you will be met by Serendo staff who will take you to your hotel in Negombo where you will spend the first night.

Relax / Tour begining

The first morning in paradise usually requires some rest after yesterday's flight. The day can then be enjoyed sunbathing and swimming, either on Negombo's vast beach or by the pool. We also offer a trip into Colombo to see and experience the capital if desired.

Explore

On the third day, the discovery begins in earnest! Our driver will take you to Dambulla. There we recommend the Sigiriya Rock (Lion Rock), the temple caves and the elephant safari. There is also an opportunity to visit an Ayurvedic spa with a wood-fired sauna.

Kandy

Garden & Temple

RThe journey then continues towards Kandy. The city is beautifully built on hills about 500 meters above sea level with a lake in the middle. In Kandy it is possible to visit the Botanical Garden, the Temple of the Tooth and a spice garden. You can also watch the traditional Kandy dance.

Nuwara Eliya

Tea factory & Waterfall

Next up is the slightly cooler Nuwara Eliya, a town located at around 2000 m above sea level. Many branded clothes are produced here (Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Pentagonia etc.), and can therefore be bought at a very reasonable price. In Nuwara Eliya, we recommend visiting Lover's Leap Waterfall and the Damro tea factory

Nuwara Eliya / Ella

Train journey

From Nuwara Eliya to Ella, you can take the opportunity to take the train, which takes around 3 hours. It is one of the most beautiful train rides in the world with views of mountains, tea plantations, waterfalls and much more. The rest of the day is spent relaxing in Ella.

Explore

Once in Ella, there is a wide range of attractions, beautiful nature walks and nice restaurants in town. Some of our recommendations are Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam's Peak and Blue Water Cave for those who want more adventure.

Elephant feeding

After Ella, the tour continues south to Udawalawa, one of Sri Lanka's smaller national parks. Here you can see when the elephants are released into the wild when they are big enough and also when baby elephants are fed. Afterwards there is time to relax by the pool at the hotel.

‍Safari & Sea

The following morning, a safari tour is offered where you can see water buffalo, monkeys, crocodiles, monitor lizards and many birds. Then it's on to the sea where you can end your tour with a few relaxing days in the beach paradise of Unawatuna.

Adventure & Exploration

Embark on a whale safari, visit a turtle farm, and explore the historic Galle Fort. Unwind at Jungle Beach, a hidden paradise perfect for relaxation.

Enjoy surfing or snorkeling among coral reefs. Witness the stilt fishermen, experience Sri Lanka’s coastal charm, and end the day with a scenic seafood dinner.

Return journey

Our drivers will take you from Unawatuna back to the airport outside Colombo / Negombo, and welcome you back!

The activities are only a recommendation and not pre-booked. We adapt the days according to your energy, will and strength. If you have other wishes in addition to what we offer, there are good chances for that too! We can also reverse the tour and start in the south and go the other way.

Important information

Booking and payment

When you book, we will get back to you within 3-5 working days with a detailed itinerary. You can then approve this or add other requests until you are completely satisfied. When the itinerary is approved, you will receive an invoice and pay 50% of the total price. The second half is paid no later than 30 days before arrival. Between 10 Dec-10 Jan is the high season and prices are about 20-30% higher than normal. If you plan to go during the high season, you should book 3-6 months before departure. Flight tickets should be booked even earlier.

Cancellation

We offer cancellation up to 30 days before departure with a 90% refund. After you have paid the full fee 30 days before, we cannot guarantee a refund, but we always try our best to solve it.

Food

Breakfast is included. Our drivers/guides will then help you find the best lunch and dinner spots.

Flight tickets are not included in the price, but if you have any questions about booking, just contact us and we will be happy to help.
